We’ve all seen the show at least once, especially on social media with funny clips going viral almost every month. Creators and producers of the hit game show “Family Feud” are catching a lot of heat for prompting sexual responses from the contestants.

Once considered an actual “family show,” Family Feud has seen its number of wild answers, between sexual to just down-right dumb. Most recently, following the Steve Harvey era, it seems as though the producers have tried to stay a little bit too current.

Over the last couple of years, the questions asked to contestants have gotten raunchy and vulgar. The explicit comments made after the question is asked, usually send the in-studio audiences and even crowds at home into a laughing uproar. But, some fans are not happy with the change as they have found it hard to watch the show with their families.

Some scenarios set up by Harvey (who is given the questions on a cue card) to the contestants include:

“name the last thing you stuck your finger in”
“something you put in your mouth but don’t swallow.”

People have taken to the internet to express their concern or disapprovals. One commenter said,

“Stopped watching a long time ago. The questions are too risqué and the answers are sometimes downright vulgar… John O’Hurley was my favorite host and I don’t remember the questions and/or answers being raunchy during his time there. Clean it up, Family Feud. You are losing viewers.”

While it is unfair to blame Harvey, as he does not in fact write the questions, his antics and punchlines surrounding the responses get people a little riled up.
