It isn’t news that Amber Rose have dated two well known popular stars in the past. Both Kanye West, 38 and Wiz Khalifa, 28 have had lengthy relationships with Amber ending on bad terms.
Saturday October 3, Amber Rose hosted her first ever Slut Walk event in LA. She addressed some of the slander and rumors against her. The purpose of the whole walk is to encourage women all over the world from all ethnicities that have been through humiliation just like her. Women whom have dealt with self identity, insecurity, abuse, and acceptance. This walk was for them.
She publicly forgave both of her previous boyfriends for their behavior towards her after their breakup. Kanye West who took to social media stating ” he felt like he needed to take 30 showers after hooking up with her” and the father of her son Wiz who also has passed remarks such as ” she was nothing but a stripper”. She broke down on stage in front of all those that came out to support the event. Amber spoke on how the things said from two people she loved and cared for hurt her but she has chosen to forgive them.
From what Amber says Wiz has apologized to her already. So it’s only right in her heart that she forgives him as well. Words can cut deep and if were not careful the words we say to others can do more harm that we think. Good for Amber for overcoming that hurt and being able to move forward with her life.
