The “in” thing as of lately is a big, round booty. Whether it is real or fake, women go above and beyond to get themselves a phatty.

A popular surgeon from the hit TV show Botched released a statement describing the risks of butt enhancements and it is NOT pretty at all. He also spoke out about the “Kardashian effect” and how they have basically brainwashed us via the media to want these perfect bodies (although it’s not their fault, that’s what the reality has become).

“It’s the Kardashian Effect. The big butts are very ‘in.’ I see a lot of young girls want to do the Kylie Jenner thing; for a while she was getting lip injections. They wanted lips just like hers,” he said about the reality TV family and their curvy, full looking bods.

“The butt thing is really concerning, because they want to go big. They’re pushing the envelope of what the buttocks will take,” he adds. “When you put a ton of fat in the buttocks, some of it’s going to dissolve. Some of it’s going to die. You can get into fat necrosis and scarring. The buttocks is really, really hard to fix.”

So basically what he is saying is that although booty shots are quite common, they are also just as common to have them go terribly wrong. Mind you, you also need to stay off of your bottom for an entire week after getting that particular surgery. How that’s even possible I am not sure but it sounds like a risk that I would never want to even take!

Ladies – would you still get your butt enhanced regardless of the possibilities of the surgery malfunctioning?
