After much anticipation and speculation Vin Diesel shared a huge announcement with fans about the up coming Fast and Furious film. He previous dished that there would be three more films to come but there was no word on plot and directors.
Monday, Vin Diesel confirmed via Facebook that the award winning ‘Straight Outta Compton’ director F.Gary Gray would indeed lead the film. Hit the jump for more.
With a simple photo of himself and Gray sitting on either side of still from previous Fast films, Vin Diesel confirmed rumors of F. Gary Gray would be directing the next F & F film. Gray was one of four directors left in the running to take over the film, however beat out Rob Cohen, Louis Leterrier, Ericson Core, Adam Wingard, and William Eubank after his huge success with the summer blockbuster ‘Straight Outta Compton.’
The highly anticipated film is rumoured to be called Fast 8 or ‘F8’ for short and will be released on April 14, 2017. Actors Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, and Jason Statham have all signed on for the ride.
