Terrell Owens, everyone’s favorite wide receiver has done it again. During an interview on The Herd, the former Dallas Cowboys talked about his time in the NFL and says that he can still keep up with today’s front runners.
With players like T.O., there really is no in between. You either loved him, or you hated him. His antics on the field, were very distracting and most fans felt like he took away from the game. The media loved him and the T.O. frenzy had grown quickly out of control.
On Friday, T.O. spoke with Colin Cowherd about his time in the NFL and what people are still calling the “Dallas Star incident.”
Post-Dallas, Owens found himself dressed in red and gold and playing for the San Fransisco 49ers. There didn’t seem to be any animosity when the 49ers and the Cowboys got together to play in 2000 until Owens scored a touchdown and celebrated on the Dallas star. For some it was hilarious, for Cowboys and fans, not so much. T.O. comments on the incident during his interview with Cowherd.
He also talked about his current 40 time, saying that he could easily run a 4.4/4.5 and that, if given the opportunity, he could still play in the league today, even at 41 years old.
Check out the video of the celebration that started an on-field brawl and his response to it, 15 years later.
