It seems as though every year, at least one college football player gives us the story of the year. Between Manti Teo and his Catfish girlfriend to our party animal, Johnny Football to the class clown, Jameis Winston we’ve just about heard it all.

Trending on timelines this year is UCLA punter, Adam Searl for allegedly raping a 20-year old woman in 2014.

Searl and the victim left an off-campus house party together, where the went to a nearby residence. The victim says that she fell asleep and woke up to the kicker having his way with her.

USA Today reported that after a very long investigation, the 20-year old was able to identify Searl as her attacker.

Head coach for UCLA football, Jim Mora made a statement through ABC7,

“We have been informed of the situation involving Adam Searl, and we take these accusations very seriously. Adam has been suspended from the team indefinitely while the legal process runs its course.”

Searl was released on a $300,000 bail.
