IFWT_Tom Brady rings

At 38-years old, Tom Brady is still one of, if not the best quarterback in the league as he leads his currently undefeated New England Patriots.  But how many more seasons can he keep this going before hanging up his jersey?  A long time if you ask Mr. Brady himself.

“I’d like to play a long time,” Brady said. “There’s a lot that goes into playing well — I’ve played with a lot of great teammates. But I want to play for a long time. Maybe 10 more years.”

Brady has gone back and forth in recent interviews when asked if he could play until he’s 50, or close to it. In a September conference call with Jacksonville media, Brady said playing 10 more years “might be a little bit of a reach, at this point.”

He must’ve been feeling young during the conference call with the New York media as he expanded on his hopes for the game.

“It’s not always up to me,” he said of playing another decade. “That’s what my goals are. So, that’s just what I’m hoping. It’ll take a lot to achieve that. Obviously, a team has to want you. But, I love playing this sport. I love making the commitment to my teammates and my coaches, and hopefully I can do it for a long time.”
