As Mexico prepares for one of the worst storms in its history news teams have only one source of getting the live exclusive straight from Mexico. A man in Mexico in the middle of Hurricane Patricia was able to upload a bunch of videos to show his followers exactly how big the waves are. To our surprise he was the only one posting these videos and news teams swarmed to ask for the footage. As he reports live from his own instagram via Mansanillo, Mexico at The Hotel Cimino Real.

Every single main stream media outlet and weather force has began to notice that this is the only way we will get an inside scoop, and first hand look at the storm. When asked why on earth would this man Hector, continue to stay there as the storm gets worse, he responded in spanish “because I work here”. CNN, AbC News, The Weather Channel and Univision all left comments asking permission to use his instagram videos as a reference. Even BBC which is a British station has reached out to this man.

This is a terrifying time for anyone in Mexico and talk of this being the most catastrophic hurricane ever. There has been talk of back to back El Nino effects. Millions of eyes across the world are tuned in to the instagram account YETO26Sanchez as we pray he stays safe. Not only is he curageous for staying long enough to catch this footage, but I can speak for all of us when I say, we would have called out of work sick. #PrayForMexico
