In professional sports, an athlete can be fined for any number of things. From celebration dances to certain hand gestures, there are some things that the big whigs won’t tolerate.

Miami guard, Gerald Green is currently feeling the heat after being fined for ‘menacing gestures,’ as per ESPN.

We’ve seen players with their own unique ways of celebrating big plays. Whether its a hip thrust (or three) after a nice tackle or three fingers in the air after a big three, the NFL and the NBA have their rules against celebration and taunting.

Apparently, Gerald Green did not get the memo as he made throat slashing and gun shot hand gestures after knocking down two, three-pointers in last night’s matchup against Washington.

Green finished the game with 28 points and a $25,000 tab.

Green signed a $1.4 million, one-year deal with the Heat in July.
