Looks like Raven Symoné is infuriating people once again with her opinions. The co-host talked about the Spring Valley High School Assault on the talk show The View and said both the police officer and the student are to blame. SSouth Carolina Deputy Ben Fields was asked to remove a student from the classroom who wouldn’t get off her cell phone, but the situation quickly got out of hand.

Raven said during the roundtable discussion,
“The girl was told multiple times to get off her phone, there was no reason for him to be doing this type of harm, it’s ridiculous, but at the same time you’ve got to follow the rules in school.”
Raven even went as far as sympathizing for Officer Ben Fields stating,
“He was actually sued for false arrest, excessive force and battery in 2007 after a couple accused him of manhandling them,” she said. “He has a record and he’s still hired, but at the same time, get off your phone.”
People weren’t too happy about what she voiced as her opinion and took to twitter to lash out .. Check out the tweets in the gallery
No no no that’s NOT so RAVEN you’re tripping!!!! It should be mandatory for all students to have phones in school, on mute, in their pockets as my kids do as a safety precaution, During an event of extreme emergency. which seems to be unfortunately the normal In school systems across the country. I wouldn’t give a rats ass if my child was doing the Dougie in the middle of the class room isle. This aggressive force is disturbingly
unacceptable. It was most likely
child who recorded this event!! Great reason for a child to have a phone in class, so you can see what the hell went on inside..like I said “extreme emergencies”.. Further more, A parent does not have the right to walk in school to their child’s class and whoop their ass for not cleaning the room before they left the house this morning..Now do we?! do you know what will happen to a parent?? Who the hell is he, commander special opps delta brigade on school cell phone detail.. Stop! @raven if this was a child’s parent doing this would you: A say “they should not be allowed to parent children” Or “you’ve got to follow the rules”??
