“If Black Lives don’t matter to Black Lives, who the fuck else is it going to matter to?”

Ja Rules ask this question during his most recent interview with Vibe Magazine. With the recent nationwide incidents that have taken place over the past couple years the hashtag #Blacklivesmatter on social media has grown tremendously. At the same time people have also been addressing black on black violence and letting it be know that if black lives matter, they need to matter the black lives as well. So Ja rule decided to address this issue at the perfect time.

“So I know it all starts with us. I want to see bigger movements. I don’t want to see Black on Black on violence no more. I want to see us root for each other, and I want to see us be happy to see the next man win. And it starts with messages like this that I’m sending. I don’t have no malice toward that Black man that I had drama with. I wish him all the success in the world.”

Ja Rule is addressing his long time beef with rapper and business man 50 Cent. Ja Rules tells Vibe that he is way past what they went through and that he wishes 50 nothing but the best. This clearly is just the first step to Rule making positive changes in his life.

He continues …

“The more positive, successful Black men we have, the more chance we have to break the cycle. And I think we should all get on board,”

This interview comes just days after the premiere of Rules new reality TV show ‘ Follow The Rules‘ staring Ja rule and his family. The show focuses on the day to day lives of a family man and his family. This is just one more step into the new lifestyle Rule has chosen for himself.

“I think we should all root for each other and not tear each other down.”

– Ja Rule

Sounds like a good idea Rule, I’m with it!

Throughout his career Ja rule has been known to be sort of a bad boy, so although this change will be new for many of us it’ll definitely a good one.
