“I hadn’t eaten much since lunch time, and I was driving by a McDonald’s, so I thought I’d just swing in and pick up a Big Mac, Gabe Hart told LiveLeak about what led him to a Minneapolis McDonald’s drive-thru where he witnessed and recorded a massive blow-out between the patron in front of him and and employee. “At first I was annoyed the guy in front of me was taking so long, he seemed pretty upset to begin with.”

Bernard Robinson III, the McDonald’s drive-thru employee, and the patron apparently got into the altercation with the gentleman claiming it took the worker too long to give him his change for a one-hundred dollar bill (that he used to pay for a $3 item).

“It looked like when the McDonald’s guy handed him his cash and change back he dropped some of the dude’s change,” Hart continued. “That’s when he got out of his car, spit on the drive through window and tried to punch the McDonald’s guy and that’s when I started recording.”

The two were going back and forth. While it seemed as though Robinson was getting the best of the angry customer, he was unable to stop punching because the guy was gripping his employee-given tie through the drive-thru window. The customer proceeded to drop to the ground, still holding on the to guy’s tie, and attempted to kick the worker in the face.

Robinson spoke with the Star Tribune and explained his point of view.

“I guess the guy was ticked that it took so long,” he said. “He was blabbing, and the change was dropping out of his hand.” That’s when he [the customer] “got of the car, looked in my eyes and spit in my face.” That’s nasty – Robinson suffered bruises to his neck, however, declined medical attention.

The customer, whose identity was not released, was cited for misdemeanor assault and then released, according to the Daily Mail.

IJS: The McDonald’s corporation should invest in some FDIC bank windows for their drive-thru. These type of incidents are becoming too frequent. How could we forget when Kailin Holland of Louisiana was arrested for her McDonald’s drive-thru stunt. The food they serve is not that serious people.
