Members of the Hesperia High School football team in California ruined the best night of any high school sports season, senior night. After vandalizing rival school, Oak Hills’ football facility, Friday night’s festivities were cancelled.

You won’t believe the extremes these kids went to.

Normally when high school athletes get into some off the field/court trouble, those individual players are suspended. The administration for the Hesperia football team took things to a new level and completely cancelled the team’s senior night after discovering that most of their players involved in a nasty prank against their crosstown rival team.

The bleachers at Oak Hills were covered in trash, syrup, spray paint, eggs, flour, and even feces. A flag from Hesperia high was laid proudly at center field.

School custodians, volunteers, faculty all helped to clear the mess in hopes that the Oak Hills’ senior events would not be tainted, but when the Hesperia head coach decided to forfeit game, all hopes of a good night, went down the drain.

Oak Hills’ coach, Robert Kistner, was upset to hear about the forfeit and said that he didn’t understand it.

“You still bring your guys and you tell the opposing coach, ‘This is what I got,'” he said. “I don’t understand not bringing a team. I don’t understand that at all. That talks about no pride in the program and there’s no pride from the coach. It screws what seniors you have.”
