The New York Giants had some concerns going into Sunday’s game against the Buccaneers as defensive end, Jason Pierre-Paul made his 2015 NFL debut following a Fourth of July incident that left his hand mangled.

The Giants pulled through with a victory and it was up to the Philadelphia Eagles to seal the deal.

The Eagles aren’t exactly the team you bet on. Last night, they proved otherwise as they defeated the Dallas Cowboys in a close OT-matchup.

Giants fans were at the edges of their seats as the game clock wound down and the score was tied 27-27.

The Eagles had the ball first and were trucking downfield when what seemed like the worst had happened. Cowboy, Jeremy Mincey forced a fumble, as the Eagles attempted a 4th and 1 conversion, that was recovered by another Dallas player.

Everyone panicked as it seemed only right that the Eagles would botch the game in a last minute mess-up.

The call was ruled a fumbled but was reversed after the review.

Next play, Bradford hits right to Matthews and the Eagles put up 7 to seal the deal.

The Cowboys have now lost six-straight games and sit in last place in the NFC East.

Between the Giants win and the Cowboys loss, the Giants have secured the No.1 spot in the NFC East and are currently 5-4. We are still waiting on more info regarding Cruz’s return, but the team seems to be holding it down while he nurses injuries.
