Prior to the Oklahoma City Thunder game against the Washington Wizards Tuesday night, Kevin Durant reflected on the last time he played in D.C. and said the fans were “disrespectful” by heavily wooing him an opposing player, instead of showing more love to their current players.  Well the Wizards fans heard him loud and clear and he certainly didn’t receive a warm welcome last night.

Instead of cheering Durant on and pushing the KD2DC movement, the fans instead booed him whenever he touched the ball.

Durant played well in the first half, putting up 14 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in 17 minutes but he didn’t play in the second half due to a strained hamstring.

It wasn’t quite the visit many were expecting.

The Thunder beat the Wizards 125-101 largely in part to Russell Westbrook who had his first triple-double of the season with 22 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists in 28 minutes.
