Anonymous tweeted,

“We report that more than 5500 Twitter account of #ISIS are now #down! #OpParis #Anonymous #ExpectUs.”

“#ISIS tries to stop us, but we’re smarter.”

So far, Anonymous knocked down 5,500 ISIS twitter accounts. This will slow ISIS down in terms of their communication. ISIS uses WhatsApp, YouTube, and Playstation to assist their terrorists worldwide. They also publicized a link on Pastebin; this contained ISIS websites, dark web pages, Twitter accounts, Tumblr accounts, Facebook pages, and web servers.

Dark web links taken down are so key for many reasons. Hacktivists use the deep web to stay under wraps from law enforcement who may not be as skilled as Anonymous. Hacking into the deep web takes some real skill and knowledge. Most people cannot even find it.

Anonymous promised to take on ISIS in a warlike manner only days before. This is the vigilante sequel to their publication of almost 400 KKK member identities.
