Blue ivy is only 3 years old and this will be her third time hopping on the microphone to make an appearance. The first time was when she was only a few days old and her father Jay-Z dropped the song ‘Glory’ which featured baby Blue’s cries. That day Blue Ivy made history for being the youngest person to ever appear on Billboard. Now, almost four years later Coldplay’s Chris Martin has announced that the world will be hearing Blue Ivy make a musical appearance once again and she will be joined by her mama, Bey.

In a recent interview with Wall Street Journal Martin opens up about his new upcoming album. When asked how he got the one and only B.I.C to be on the album he says…

“Everyone who got asked to sing on our album has an important part in our lives,”

And continues …

The “choir” started with my two kids coming in after school and recording. We recorded Blue Ivy Carter in New York when her mom Beyoncé was in the studio. It comes from learning about Greek tragedy, where the chorus chimes in at times.

This news comes as no surprise due to the fact that Chris Martin and The Carters have been known to be friends for some time now.

The album, ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’ is set to be released on Jay-Z’s birthday, Dec 4th.
And the song Beyonce will appear on is titled “Hymn for the Weekend,”

We can’t wait to hear what Bey and Blue and Coldplay have in store for us!
