Future took to Twitter to let his fans know “Freebandz & Eardrummers 2015 thanksgiving.” For those who don’t know, Freebandz is Future’s crew, while Eardrummers is Mike Will’s production team.

Ape Shit was suppose to follow up 56 Nights, Future’s third mixtape since his underperforming album Honest. Ape Shit was going to continue the trend of the three previous mixtapes, to be heavily produced by one of Atlanta’s elite producers. The first mixtape ‘Monster’, was mainly produced by Metro Boomin, ‘Beast Mode’ was mainly produced by Zaytoven, and 56 Nights was produced by 808 Mafia.

However, Future decided to drop his DS2 album, and then later went on to drop the collaboration album with Drake. Both projects were excellent, so I couldn’t complain about the Ape Shit delay, but now it might finally come on Turkey day.

Again this is speculation, but not far fetch at all. Producer Southside previously said Future has nine projects in the vault right now! And if Future does drop the tape, this will be a very pleasant thanksgiving for hip-hop fans.
