Kwon Alexander is facing a four-game suspension after using performance enhancing drugs. Alexander is still expected to play in today’s game against the Eagles, which has us wondering how that will affect today’s outcome.

Alexander is a rookie linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who made headlines earlier this month after putting up impressive numbers just days after the tragic loss of his 17-year old brother. After recording 11 tackles, an interception, and a fumble recovery, Alexander dedicated the rest of the season to his late brother.

Today, it was announced that he would be facing a four-game suspension for using performance enhancing drugs. Though it the information was released today, the suspension will not be in effect until Monday, meaning Alexander is still on for today’s match with the Philadelphia Eagles.

It is shocking that there hasn’t been more of a fight from the Eagles’ front office expressing concern of the linebackers one-up on the rest of the players on the field, but we have to assume that they are trying to keep their players focused on the game.

Both the Bucs and the Eagles are 4-5, which makes today’s game crucial for both sides as they fight for a 500 record.
