Hollywood visual effects producer Eric Kohler, 27, has been found living in Mexico and is no longer on the Los Angeles Police Department’s missing persons list, police stated Friday.

Although Kohler’s reasoning to as why he left the country is unclear, the LAPD has officially stated: “Detectives from the Missing Persons Unit reviewed information provided to them and have determined that Kohler is currently in the city of La Paz, Mexico.”

Kohler was previously reported missing in late November, after supposedly heading home from the workplace, but never returned. He was last seen at the time on November 24, when he left behind at work his wallet and laptop. He than took off in his black Range Rover from his Gardena, California office and never made it home.

KTLA reports that Kohler’s cell pone records showed he stopped at a Food 4 Less store, but than quickly after his cell phone was turned off.

Eric Kohler has worked on the huge hit films “The Avengers”, “X-Men”, “San Andreas”, and “The Grand Budapest Hotel”.
