Ronda Rousey hasn’t wanted to be seen by the public in the aftermath of her brutal loss to Holly Holm last month. With that said though, she had a promise to keep to a Marine and she decided that was more important than staying out of view.

Lance Corporal Jarrod Haschert invited Rousey to be his date to the Marine Ball months ago, long before her fight with Holm.
She had already promised the Marine she would be his date and she definitely gets points for keeping her word and thinking of someone else. Reports say she still seemed pretty bummed about the outcome of the fight but she showed up and was smiling, talking, taking pics with everyone and just overall enjoying herself.
