An ex-Oklahoma cop, Daniel Holtzclaw, was just convicted of 18 counts of rape. Holtzclaw would prey on woman who had a record of some sort. He would threaten to open up old wounds if the woman did not do as he said and engage in sexual activity with him. After his hearing, a few of his victims made a public statement.

Jannie Logins was just one out of many of Holtzclaw’s victims. Logins was actually one of the braver woman too. She was the one who started the investigation on Holtzclaw. When accounting on the night of her rape, she said,

“He just picked the wrong lady to stop that night.”

Logins said she was stopped by the dirty cop and was forced into performing oral sex on him.

“All I could think was, he was going to shoot me, he was going to kill me. Only thing I could see was my life flash before my eyes, and the gun in the holster on his right side.”

Upon reporting her rape to the police, they then found out out that there were 12 other woman who also said they had been raped by Holtzclaw. This man was just going around using his power as a cop to rape innocent woman. He was found guilty on 18 out of 36 counts of rape.

Shady Hill was another victim that spoke out. She was actually handcuffed to a hospital bed when she was enticed by Holtzclaw.

“I felt like I was in survival mode so I had to do what he was making me do.”

Benjamin Crump, a civil rights attorney who stood by the woman’s side released a statement saying,

“It wasn’t coincidence who he chose to violate, it was methodical and it was deliberate.”

The ex-cop pretty much prayed on black woman with old records.

Crump went on to say,

“Some might not consider them model citizens, but they were citizens. They were Americans, and their lives mattered.”

Sentencing will take place next month. This man will get what he deserves.
