As previously reported, on January 9, HBO will be premiering a documentary on J. Cole’s finale performance of his 2014 Forest Hills Drive tour in his hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina, dubbed the Road To Homecoming Documentary. Turns out, it’s actually going to be a docu-series!

Taking to Twitter moments ago, Cole revealed that every Wednesday leading up to the 9th, he will release 4 episodes for free online, culminating in the hour-and-a-half long special on HBO. These episodes will only be available until the doc airs, and then will only be available on DVD.

The first episode was released today and is called ‘F*ck Money, Spread Love,’ and it dates back to a year ago from Cole first announced 2014 Forest Hills Drive was coming. Check it out below, and check out a message from Cole on the series in the gallery!
