According to Keke Palmer, labels do not matter. She says she refuses to stay stuck down to just one gender. Palmer turned heads after a snapchat picture circulated the internet of her and Diddy’s girlfriend Cassie kissing and also after she released a video where her romance parter was a female.
Palmer has recently started working on her music career after ending her series on TV show “Scream Queens.” She will be working on an album that hopefully will be releasing soon. Palmer has raised a few eyebrows as people are now questioning her sexuality. In October, she released the video to her new single, “I Don’t Belong To You.” The video shows her being really hot and steamy with a female which lead many people to question whether that was Keke Palmer’s way of coming out the closet.
She released a statement responding to the questions saying,
“The video was to represent the young woman today – it’s not the traditional woman anymore – and not the specifics of ‘Am I gay? Am I straight? Am I bi?’, I’m making the rules for myself, and I don’t have to be stuck down to one label.”
