An armed man went into an Upper East Side H&M and ordered employees to get in the floor before fleeing with about $8,000 in cash, police said on Sunday. Check out the rest of the story after the jump.

The armed man walked into the H&M on East 86th Street in New York shortly before midnight on Saturday. He made several employees lie on the floor, police said. The man was wearing all grey and carrying a silver gun instructing a manager to empty cash out of all of the registers into a plastic shopping bag. The manager said that he gave the thief $8,000 in cash from the closed out registers according to police. There was no immediate arrest after the incident.
