After talking to Huffington Post live, Faith Evans spoke about the death of The Notorious B.I.G. who was killed in 1997. Although the investigation was put on hold, Evans hopes that the case can be reopened because she believed that the murder did not have anything to do with a beef.

Evans says that she hopes the case can be reopened. She says,

“All we can do is hope that that happens, But we’re just happy that we’re here to preserve his legacy and [make sure] his kids are happy and they’re living great lives.”

She even went on to say that she believes the LAPD knows who was responsible for pulling the trigger on the gun that killed Biggie but they just won’t say anything.

“We know he was murdered, but we believe that the LAPD knows who’s responsible. That’s what we believe.”

While many people believe Biggie’s shooting was a result of the East Coast Vs. West Cpast beef, Evans disagrees. She says that it was deeper than a music thing.

“The only way you can look at it is tragic. Tragic and senseless, But I don’t think that situation was the result of being in the music business. It’s a little deeper than that. I think all the things that came with it definitely added to the hype of things. The whole media element, and people being able to say what they think and not be accurate.”
