Floyd Mayweather recently did an interview with Fight Hype where he gave specific details about how racism still exists in boxing.  He sat with TMZ Sports and stopped short of saying the attack on Bill Cosby is racially motivated but he certainly alluded to it.

I’m not sure what he was talking about prior to the start of the video but in the clip he says “racism still exists” then says it’s no different from the Bill Cosby situation.

Mayweather made it clear that what Cosby (allegedly) did is “not right” but there’s bigger things that we don’t talk about such as police brutality.

When asked if Bill Cosby is being singled out because of his race, he mentioned the cases of Jared from Subway and Woody Allen and the fact people are turning their heads the other way in those situations.  He was asked again if Cosby’s attack is racial and he says he doesn’t know.

Mayweather says he’s not racist but there’s more important things to worry about rather than something that happened 30 or 40 years ago.
