Kanye West took a few moments out of his oh-so busy schedule to speak with some working class citizens today. TMZ spotted the SWISH rapper out-and-about when they got the scope on his relationship with Nike, and what’s happening with his clothing line.

Kanye was asked if he were offered one billion dollars would he make the transition from Adidas back to Nike. While one billion dollars is tempting (damn sure is for me), Kanye wouldn’t bite.

“It’s not about the money, man; it’s about the respect,” he says.

Hell, if he would be pissed about a person being sleep at three in the morning, I know damned well he was not backtracking to Nike.

Aside from the already mainstreamed brand, Kanye was asked about his personal clothing brand; a brand that is too expensive for his consumers, or fans; a brand that not only is blah in color, but also pricey.

“I was so happy to just show so many sweatshirts. It’s as simple as that. I think sweatshirts are the way of the future. . . Sweatshirts are fucking important. That might sound like the funniest quote ever,” Kanye explained during an interview with Vanity Fair back in September. “How can you say all this stuff about running for president in 2020 and then say sweatshirts are important? But they are. Just mark my words. Mark my words like Mark Twain.”

He has now come to the realization that those sweatshirts will not be worn if folks can’t afford them.

“You need to lower the prices of your clothes, man. I really want to wear them but they’re too expensive,” the video guys says.

“Yeah, we’re going to get them lowered,” Kanye responds.

#IJS: Would you really wear Kanye’s line? What is it about the clothes that would make you go buy them? You can get the same sweatshirt of crop top anywhere right now. I’m just saying.
