Rev Run’s son Jojo Simmons has retired from rap to move into the business side of hip-hop. Hit the jump for more.
Rather than continuing on his efforts to emulate his father, JoJo is now trying to emulate his uncle with starting his own label. The Label is called Who’s House Entertainment and JoJo already has an artist that goes by the name Jacob Santana. Jojo took to Instagram to share this information with his fans.
I think this is a smart move from the young man. Most hip-hop fans rap, but not many have the opportunity like JoJo did. The NJ artist had a lot of exposure at such a early stage of his career. JoJo can now use his connections he has in the rap game to really make some big bucks. I wish the most success for JoJo as he seems like a good guy.
