The Meek Mill and 50 Cent has been heating up these past couple days. After Meek Mill took shots at 50 on his new project, 50 went in via social media . The Instagram memes have been spriling out of control. A Louisiana activist took to social media to try and calm the storm between the two rappers.
On Saturday, President Obama called for a state of emergency in Michigan after a water supply became contaminated with lead. Obama has asked FEMA to step in and help out. Raspy Rawls, a music artist from Louisiana went to Twitter to call out Meek Mill and 50 on their BS. He tweeted,
“Somebody tell @MeekMill & @50cent the ppl in #Flint #Michigan could use some water.. Their lives depending on it..#DontWasteEachOthersTime.”
I guess someone finally got tired of the media beef and said lets focus on something a little more important. Meek Mill decided that he would do exactly as Rawls said and help out. He offered to donate $50,000.
“I got 50k to donate to waters … Let’s see if we can have @50cent match me! I’m pretty sure “flint” supported us! Serious post contact …. Roc nation will purchase for me and ship!”
He went on to say,
“Not even just him all entertainers! I ain’t got the time posting memes and s***… “Way too trill for that” @dallaslifestyle it’s my dawg hometown too! #FORMLKDAY.”
Im glad Meek Mill could be the bigger person in this situation and help out those in need.
Lets also keep Michigan in our prayer.
