Anthony Smith, who played for the Raiders from 1991-1997 will now spend the rest of his life behind bars after being sentenced to three consecutive life sentences for his role in the murders of three different men.

Not long ago Smith was found guilty of kidnapping two brothers, Kevin and Ricky Nettles from a car wash in 1999 and then shooting them to death. Their bodies were dumped roughly 8 miles apart.
In 2001, cops say Smith was part of a group that kidnapped Dennis Henderson and then stabbed him to death.
Today the judge handed down the sentences with no possibility of parole. Smith was a decent player during his career but now when people think of him, football player will be the last thing that comes to mind.
