The Donald is at it again. This time making one of his boldest remarks to the media and really the world as a whole…displaying his confidence in his presidential candidacy. Hit the jump for the full video.

Saturday at a rally at the Sioux Center in Iowa, Trump stated that his fans are so loyal, he could stand in the middle of fifth avenue (a major street in New York City), shoot somebody and he wouldn’t lose any voters.

“My people are so smart and you know what else they say about my people? The polls? I have the most loyal people, did you ever see that? I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters, OK?It’s, like, incredible.”

The thing about the real estate mogul’s boldness is that he has the numbers backing him up, which makes it difficult for people (the other candidates) to diagree as he has continually held a dominant lead over Republican party.

He is currently 17 points ahead of his closest rival, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, with 36% of the Republican party primary voters, according to a recent CBS/New York Times poll.
