A man in Turkey was arrested this week when a video of him pointing a gun at his children surfaced on social media. He later told police that it was a joke but to be honest there is nothing funny about pointing a gun at someone especially a child. Check out the video after the jump.

A father in Turkey thought pointing a gun at his children would be a funny joke but it doesn’t look like anyone is laughing. The man, whose initials “A.V” were only released, was arrested according to Mirror. The man told police that what he wasn’t trying to hurt his children it all was just fun and games.
The mans wife was recording the entire ordeal and got her husband on camera pointing a shotgun at his children saying “I will shoot your feet!” and “Bang Bang!” Also he was even seen poking one of the kids with the weapon. The children were laughing along side of A.V’s wife while she was recording the video.
Police let the man go without taking away his shotgun. A.V made a statement saying
“My father left this shotgun to me. It’s old and does not work. I didn’t have bad intentions. I was joking. They are my children, I was misunderstood.”
