Former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer is now being investigated after he allegedly assaulted a woman at a Midtown hotel. A Russian woman says that Spitzer had pushed her and also had his hands around her neck. Apparently the two had a argument that went left.
Reports claim that the woman told Spitzer that he was going back to Russia which made him upset and caused him to choke her. The woman was taken to the hospital after she attempted to slit her wrist. This is when she told authorities that Spitzer had attacked her. The woman is no longer willing to cooperate with police. Spitzer has not been charged and also has not spoke with detectives.
Back in March 2008, Spitzer resigned as governor after being tangled up in a prostitution scandal.
