Chris Bosh pulled out of the NBA All-Star game and 3-point shootout with a calf injury that wasn’t quite clear.  A new report reveals Bosh is facing another blood clot scare similar to the one he faced last year which ended his season.

According to The Vertical, the Miami Heat All-Star forward is expected to meet with doctors Thursday to determine the seriousness of blood-clotting fears in his left calf and whether the use of blood thinners could allow him to return this season.

There is reportedly more optimism that his condition can be treated and managed this time; there’s no indication that it will travel from his calf to his lungs like it did last year where he missed the final 30 games of the season.

Bosh, 31, is averaging 19.1 points and 7.4 rebounds for the Heat.

Sending prayers up for him.
