Ke$ha’s ongoing legal battle with producer Dr. Luke is not an easy one – as all court battles cost a pretty penny – but it’s that much harder considering the pop singer has next to no income.

Sources close to Ke$ha tell TMZ that she “has been on ice for 3 years,” (aka has not put out any music,) and on top of that, Dr. Luke has withheld royalties from her. In a nutshell, that means she has virtually no income.

Thankfully, fans and peers are attempting to come to her rescue! As reported earlier, Taylor Swift donated a whopping $250k to Ke$ha’s cause, and a good-hearted fan has created a GoFundMe in her honor. So far, $12.1 k of the $2 million it requires to buy out her contract from Sony has been raised, and the campaign’s creator (Brandon) assures all donators that even if they don’t reach the goal, ALL proceeds will still go to Ke$ha.
