Former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard, David Duke, spoke about Donald Trump on his show, David Duke Radio Program. He told listeners that voting against Trump is considered Treason. Although he himself is not endorsing Trump as of yet, he is asking his listeners to do so.
Duke said,
“I’m not saying I endorse everything about Trump. In fact, I haven’t formally endorsed him. But I do support his candidacy, and I support voting for him as a strategic action. I hope he does everything we hope he will do.”
Duke went on to say,
“And I am telling you that it is your job now to get active. Get off your duff. Get off your rear end that’s getting fatter and fatter for many of you everyday on your chairs. When this show’s over, go out, call the Republican Party, but call Donald Trump’s headquarters, volunteer. They’re screaming for volunteers. Go in there, you’re gonna meet people who are going to have the same kind of mind-set that you have.”
Duke believes once people start to embrace Trump, they will run into people who think just like them. The “mindset” Duke is referring to might be “the Southern Poverty Law Center’s breakdown of the notorious white nationalist’s egregious history of oppression.” This reads,
“David Duke is the most recognizable figure of the American radical right, a neo-Nazi, longtime Klan leader and now international spokesman for Holocaust denial who has nevertheless won election to Louisiana’s House of Representatives and once was nearly elected governor.”
If Donald Trump’s campaign draws in racists such as David Duke, we sure as hell don’t need him in office.
