With success comes hate and the Golden State Warriors know all about that the past two seasons. People still downplay their championship run from last year claiming they got lucky. This year they are on pace to break the Bulls 72-10 record yet they still get talked down on and hated on. The players seem to be getting annoyed with it at this point and Steph Curry let it be known how he feels.

“It’s starting to get a little annoying just because it’s kind of unwarranted from across the board,” Curry said Friday on the Bay Area News Group’s “Warriors Plus/Minus” podcast, via ESPN.com. “We have a very competent group, and we have fun when we’re out there on the floor, and it shows, obviously.

“We enjoy what we do. But for the most part, you don’t hear us talking about, you know, comparing ourselves to other great teams and ‘We could beat this team, we’re better than this team.’ We’re living in the moment.”

The Warriors are likely going to continue to piss people off with their play because that’s what winning does. I’m not so sure they should be revealing that it bothers them though because teams are looking for any weakness to exploit and maybe it will allow them to get in their heads. Then again, it’s usually Steph who gets in the heads of players when he pulls up from 35 feet with no problem.
