Over a year ago, Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in her bathtub. Just 7 months ago she passed away. We don’t know exactly what went wrong but we now learn that a Fulton County Superior Judge has ruled to unseal Bobbi Kristina’s autopsy report.
This was the ruling after WXIA filed a motion.
“The motion claims the sealing order should be vacated because it was entered without notice to the public and without an opportunity for a hearing, in violation of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, the Georgia Constitution, and the rules of the court. The motion declares there is no question that autopsy reports are public records which have historically been open to the press and general public.”
The state would like to keep the autopsy sealed due to the fact that it is still apart of an investigation. They claim they are still pursuing a investigation. By releasing the auto[sy they are putting certain individuals at risk. The judge believes that they had plenty of time to file any criminal charges, which is true. He will most likely sign off on the ruling in a few days.
