Among all the groundbreaking success Fetty Wap attained since his breakout single “Trap Queen” in 2014, none of it compares to using his fame to inspire a young man to just be himself and enjoy life to the fullest.

11-year-old Jayden Burgos got the chance of a lifetime when he met his idol Fetty Wap last week. Jayden had been wearing a prosthetic eye, after losing it to retinoblastoma as an infant. We told the story of how Fetty also lost his eye as a child, due to glaucoma.

Stopping in Denver on the his tour, Fetty invited Jayden and family backstage for one unforgettable night. Fetty had initially heard about Jayden in 2015, and wanted to have a chance to meet up with his fan.

“I’m happy I got to meet Jayden and his family,” Fetty told People. “He is a really cool kid! It meant a lot to me personally to finally make his wish happen. It’s definitely a day we’ll both remember.”

Jayden was reportedly gifted with some exclusive Remy Boyz gear and a few photos with the Paterson, NJ rapper. We know the two must have exchanged some words, and we hope Jayden and kids like him never forget that differences never have to hold you back in life.
