It’s been just over seven months since the world said their goodbyes to the daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, after she was found unconscious in the bath tub of her home. Earlier this week the Fulton County Superior Judge ruled to unseal Bobbi Kristina’s autopsy and today (March 4th) which marks her 23rd birthday, the world learned her cause of death.
According to the ME, Bobbi Kristina’s death was a result of lobar pneumonia, caused by an accidental drowning. However, it is currently under investigation whether her death was “intentional or accidental causes and has therefore classified the manner of death as undetermined.”
Following the results, Bobby Brown released a statement, remembering and honoring his daughter and sharing his sadness that these sensitive details were released prior to the case closing.

In a statement to Us Weekly, Bobby Brown said;
“First and foremost, 23 years ago today, Bobbi Kristina was born,” adding, “Krissy will always live in my heart and soul. I love my baby girl. For news affiliates to seek and obtain my daughter’s autopsy report, before anyone has been brought to justice for her death is mind blowing to me. Please pray for my family.”
Brown’s attorney also released a statement adding;
“Yesterday we were informed that two news affiliates were granted access to the autopsy of Bobbi Kristina Brown. While this action is unsettling, we will continue in our efforts in the civil lawsuit and the criminal investigation,” he continued, “Bobby Brown has had to be strong and mourn his loved ones in a fashion that is foreign to most people. So public, so raw, with apparently no end in sight. Hopefully public indictments and prosecution will lead to private healing and closure for Bobby Brown and his family.”
