Donnell Rawlings

Late Saturday night, comedian Donnell Rawlings stopped by Philadelphia diner Little Pete’s for a bite to eat, following his nearby gig. According to both Donnell and his girlfriend (who was not there, but was told the story later that night,) he put his bag down on his seat and stepped outside to have a cigarette, mid-meal. He was quickly accused of skipping out on the bill, which resulted in two staff members holding his back hostage and screaming in his face until the police came – which resulted in quite the fight.

In the end, Donnell paid the $12 tab AND left a $60 tip, and no arrests were made. For her part, the waitress says Donnell “appeared drunk and like he was walking out on the tab,” and that he “made it clear before he left he wasn’t going to pay.” I’m not buying it. Sounds like a bunch of Trump supporters if you ask me…

Beware of this spot, super disrespectful. The waitresses are an embarrassment and the kitchen staff fight patrons. Hey waitress who likes to scream into customers faces, you need to be fired and not work in customer service again. Your a liar, if he was drunk like you say, why did you serve him? He was alone and you didn't like the way people were asking him to take pictures, but your story is that he wanted the celebrity treatment right? Simple minded people. Yeah because Donnell is all flashy ? He bought a 12 dollar meal to go back to his room to FaceTime me and our newborn baby. You wanted to start something because you disliked him, you profiled him and you started mess. I hope people watch your behavior in the video and realize you don't need to be waiting on tables. You look disgusting and you sent it in to tmz. Shame on you lady, shame on you little Petes in philly. As we say in New York, your CORNY! But if you like to be racially profiled and treated like a suspect even though you leave your stuff in your seat, to go have a smoke, answer a call, or to even use the bathroom and get screamed at like your a criminal go to this place, it's in philly it's called little Petes. I guess your insinuating that he has to let you know his every move despite his belongings being in his seat. Clearly common sense isn't so common anymore, but that should be a factor when you come to hiring staff, also empathy and compassion. If this were a white man wearing a suit, do you think this were to happen the way it did? Because According to them $12 is enough to disrespect someone and try to humiliate someone #iamangry #thisisenough
