According to Mike Bresnahan of the Los Angeles Times, the NBA will announce that the Staples Center will host the All-Star game for the third time in 2018.
The last time the Staples Center hosted the NBA All-Star Game was back in 2011. Superstar Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers put on a show in front of the hometown crowd earning All-Star Game MVP honors for the fourth time. Hopefully by 2018, the Lakers will have a new star to host the festivities.
Next year, the festivities will take place at the home of the Charlotte Hornets at Time Warner Cable Arena.
