Before Kanye West settled on naming his most recent project, ‘The Life of Pablo‘ the album went by ‘WAVES,’ which didn’t sit too well with rapper Wiz Khalifa. The title caused a Twitter beef between the two rappers that ultimately ended well – but not before Amber Rose who is connected to both rappers put Kanye West on blast with her infamous “Fingers in the Booty” comment.

In his recent interview with GQ, Wiz Khalifa talked about what went down after he decided to call out Kanye and how the two patched things up. Wiz recalled, he was listening to A$AP Ferg’s “New Level” when he was first made aware of Kanye’s first tweet firing shots at him. He explained Bob Marley inspired him to confront the ‘Wolves’ rapper. He said, “Bob Marley spoke up for what he believed in.”

After going back and forth and dragging several other including Kim Kardashian, Amber Rose and their children into the mix, West deleted his tweets and called Khalifa to apologize. Wiz wasn’t too thrilled to be opening up that door again telling GQ, “It’s done and over with, so it don’t even matter,” he said adding, “I know specifically probably somebody told you not to have this conversation with me, but because you’re in a room with me by myself, you think you can have this conversation with me.”

However, Khalfia did say, “I keep shit brief,” he said, “But for him, it’s no animosity, so it ain’t even no thing.”
