Lamar Odom was spotted drinking at an Irish bar just hours before going to church with Khloe Kardashian and family for Easter. Apparently that wasn’t his only offense; his drinking has reportedly reached crisis level and Khloe desperately wants him to get help now. The only problem is, he doesn’t want to get help.
Sources close to the still married duo tell TMZ, Khloe’s doing everything she can to convince him to get treatment for addiction. Odom’s reportedly happy to go to physical rehab, but refuses to deal with his drug demons.
Khloe’s even suggested an outpatient program, but Odom remains defiant.
Odom’s own family members are also striking out. According to TMZ sources, they’ve tried to convince him by pointing out several relatives, including his father, have addiction issues.
Lamar’s been communicating with his two kids in NY recently, but seeing him in a bar makes even them worry dad will fall back out of their lives.
Bottom line: No one close to Lamar believes he can “casually” drink without opening the door to renewed drug abuse.
Khloe’s telling friends and family there will come a point when “she has to stop trying” to save Lamar.
