D’Angelo Russell is going through it after a video he secretly recorded of Nick Young admitting to cheating on Iggy Azalea was leaked. The team has isolated him and Russell says he’s hated everywhere he goes. He was even booed at the Lakers home game against the Heat on Wednesday night. Following the game while doing his presser, Kobe Bryant gave the young rookie some advice.
Kobe says the incident is “unfortunate” and “tough”. Kobe says there’s nothing Russell can do outside of the countless apologies but continue to perform and just play.
Sidenote: Kobe would know; he did snitch on Shaquille O’Neal when they were teammates. Luckily for him social media wasn’t heavy during that time.
