Kevin Durant pretty much sh*tted all over the Detroit Pistons yesterday and as you might expect, Pistons players weren’t feeling it and now are circling games on the schedule for next year against Durant and the Thunder.

In case you missed it, this is what KD had to say after the Thunder lost to the Pistons and Reggie Jackson was celebrating the win a little too much.

There was more. “I wanted to play against Detroit for sure,” he said, “but…you know. It’s Detroit. You know, who cares about Detroit?”

All this came After KD & Serge Ibaka sat out against the Pistons to rest and Detroit was able to pull off a narrow victory, which made former Thunder guard Reggie Jackson feel like a king.

Pistons Stanley Johnson actually was understanding of how the Thunder felt at first, but then after KD’s comments he was singing a different tune.

“If he wanted to have an impact on the game, he should have just played,” Johnson said after this morning’s shoot-around.

He continued.

“No one is scared of playing against him on this side of town,” Johnson said. “Next year we have two games scheduled, and I know, for me, it’s circled on my schedule from now on.”

“I don’t think we’re something to play with,” Johnson said. “I think we can be a playoff team and you gotta respect that. I think by saying that, he disrespected our whole team.”

Reggie Jackson added his two cents on KD’s comments as well. “I don’t think anybody likes us,” he said. “It’s still Detroit versus everybody. That’s still how our mentality is.”

The Pistons are nowhere near the level of the Thunder and Jackson’s actions were somewhat bush league but we could have a new, bitter rivalry on our hands the next couple years.
