A cop’s body camera catches a incident that took place after they stop a man who was driving and blasting music in his car. Police dragged the man out of his car, tasered him, and pepper sprayed him. The Mississippi County NAACP is asking for this incident to be investigated after Patrick Newbern was charged with a violation of the city noise ordinance, fleeing by vehicle and resisting arrest.
You can hear the officers in the video saying,
“Get his ass out of the car.”
Newbern was trying to explain to the police that there is something wrong with his brakes. The cops pull him out the car not even allowing him to take his seat belt off, throw him to the grown and put a taser to his back. Another officer then pepper sprays him. Newbern starts yelling, “I can’t see!”
Cops are trained professionals, the unessicaary roughness has to stop.
