After taking the award for, this year’s Rock Star award, Rihanna gave a quite moving acceptance Speech at the ‘Black Girls Rock’ event. The singer thanked BET for partnering with the group and televising and event that celebrates Black Woman in a world that does not celebrate them enough.
Rihanna gave a thank you on behalf of all the winners saying,
“we do what we love and we try to do our part in our community.”
The singer also went on to thank a lot of members in her family such as her grandmother and her mother.
