Drug Enforcement Administration says they will finally look into reclassifying Marijuana. As mentioned in previous articles, Marijunana is classified in the same field as hard drugs such as Heroin which is ridiculous.
John Hudak, who is a Brookings Institution researcher related a statemant saying,
“People just aren’t applying because of all the headaches involved. It’s a huge disincentive for the academic community.”
Tom Angell, founder of Marijuana Majority says,
“It’s potentially hugely significant, but also potentially hugely disappointing.”
He believes that the government should look at the science of marijuana which is true. The fact that marijuana is known to be a hard drug is actually really ridiculous and definitely needs to be re-looked at.
